Mesmerizing Mann Mohanaa

Mann Mohanaa... from Jodhaa Akbar.

Most of us when listening to this song would have skipped initially, and we'll be used to skip the song, and not pay much attention to it as much we'd have done with other songs.

As all A.R.Rahman scores have this slow poison ingredient mixed with it, that'll slowly mix in your body and flaten you. This is not an exception to the Mann Mohanaa song in JA. As I was listening to JA songs (had the ear phones on, so the only sound I heard was the music.), at a point realized that I’ve closed my eyes and was enjoying the song, for a moment I was out of the world, then i realized i was listening to Mann Mohanaa, that took me away beyond this horizon. I played the song again, "what a composition and arrangement of instruments yet again by ARR", it’s a big WOW.

Try to listen to the song and note the flute and string instrumentation between (2:58 to 3:27), (4:08 to 4:28) and (4.42 to 5.10). It’s like in a roller coaster.

The whole song is a master piece, the tabla rhythm and other percussion that joins and the voice; it’s out of the world. It takes you to a new world.
